Description
This optic is like newer styles of LPVO, or low powered variable optic, but its a bit different in the aspect that it is a FFP scope, or First Focal Plane. Especially at its price point. First, if you don't understand what a FFP scope is, or what it can do, it essentially allows you to zoom in on the reticle as you increase magnification. This allows the reticles subtensions to be absolutely true regardless of the magnification. So if the distance between each stadia line is 2 MOA, or Minutes of Angle, regardless of the magnification, it is 2 MOA. With SFP, or Second Focal Plane scopes, your range estimating reticles, are only calibrated usually for your maximum magnification.
What makes this scope great, is that being a FFP scope, the reticle is very small at 1x. It is larger than a typical red dot, but it is smaller than an EOTech circle dot reticle. This kind of reticle will do very well in for short range work and be precise enough to work well at extended ranges for red dot use. When you crank up the magnification, the reticle gets larger and you can see more function to the reticle which will do well for more precision at extended ranges out past normal efficiency with a red dot. When you think about function though, a FFP for an LPVO makes a lot more sense.

UnBELIEVABLE quality and the retical is AWESOME!
I bought one of these because I liked what it looked like and thought what the heck, especially when I was told it would come with a "lifetime" guarantee. Not a bad deal with that included. Well I was SO IMPRESSED that I bought another one. They are both on 450 Bushmaster rifles which are for close in work. Say under 250 yards. These rifles make GREAT pig guns. And ACME MACHINE'S CUSTOMER SERVICE is the best I've ever found, yea, the BEST I've ever found in the industry! I suspect I may end up with a couple of more of these before I'm done...THANKS ACME! And would you once and for all stop picking on Wile E. Coyote?
I need several of these for all my rifles!
I like the fit and finish of the optic and I will be back for their 6-24x50
Overall good buy!!!
Wish this scope came with some directions or info, as I had to contact customer support to figure out that the lighted reticle dial needed pulled out to work. But overall it has been a good buy for my budget 300 blackout pistol. First time at the range with it I was ringing steel at 200 with subs, no problem! Would highly recommend for anyone on a budget or who wants a quality scope with out breaking the bank!
great scope for the money!
Way better then my primary arms 1-8. This scope has a much bigger field of view being a 34mm tube. It captures a ton of light. I used it with a light for coyote hunting at night and it worked great. It tracks well, has 25 moa in each rotation of the turrets. Clicks are positive and turrets feel very good. Its a rock solid scope. Best product acme has come out with to date. The reticle is very easy to use and I love having a 1 moa center dot. Eyebox is pretty good, eye relief is great! Best all around scope iv used. Its a very good value. Scopes with this many features cost 3x as much!
